Hey you. Name all the seasons of MTV’s The Real World in order. Go. 1) New York, 2) Los Angeles 3) San Francisco 4)…..uhhh. Yeah, I don’t blame you, I’ve lost count too.

MTV has decided to re-up on their favorite reality TV show for another four seasons. That means 28 more strangers and 4 more cities and about 100 more hookups and show-mances. And when you add in the fact that the Real World/Road Rules Challenge is getting four more seasons, you’ve got all out insanity on your hands.

But MTV still believes in their drama as the show is still doing decent in the ratings department.  But really, at this point, it’s seen so many iterations that it can hardly be deemed relevant. The Real World: Brooklyn is the show’s 21st season (and 3rd time in New York City). Shooting for the 22nd season, in Cancun of all places, is going on right now.

And yes, the Brooklyn season has had its notable moments (such as the story of Iraq war veteran Ryan or the explosive temper of roommate J.D.), but it’s otherwise been pretty boring. I’m sure the Cancun season will bring back shades of TRW: Las Vegas, but aren’t we all over this show yet? But I guess since I don’t routinely watch the show (and most people I’ve asked wonder if it’s still on the air), I guess we can just sit back and tune into other things while this turkey lives on.

Not everyone is into watching, hoes, stuts, drama, and drunken people all the time.
This season was NOT boring. Perhaps you should have watched the dailies. They were actually more interesting than the show itself.
