United States of Tara Episode 9, ‘Possibility,’ took a nose dive in comedic fun factor and played more to the drama in Tara’s life.
Now that Tara’s new alter is out in the open and Max is playing Sherlock Holmes with her life, Tara decides to take a much needed breather from the “guys in her life. Kate and Tara take a girls only vacation, without Charmaine, and after a brief visit from T decide to get matching tattoos.
The real highlight of this episode was Marshall and Jason’s little bedroom love scene. After getting Jason drunk, Marshall decides to put the moves on a passed out Jason. And, then we learned the truth. Jason likes boys too, and kisses Marshall right back.
We’ve got two more episodes of Tara before the freshman season finale. Will Max uncover the truth behind Tara’s school experience that may have cause the alters to take over her life? Only time will tell. I for one, would just like to see more of Tara’s new “animal-like” alter. Maybe, she (or it) can pee on Gene, Kate’s personal stalker?

When Dr. Ocean unexpectedly terminates her treatment, it throws Tara into a total meltdown at the spa with Charmaine. Upon coming home, things begin to unravel, and one of Tara’s alters betrays Marshall in a way that could destroy the family forever.
