NBC finally premieres its new drama Kings this weekend and I’m really curious to see how well it does in the rankings. The network hasn’t launched an ambitious marketing campaign by any stretch of the imagination, so I’m not sure why they’re not backing it with an all-out effort. But according to what I’ve seen so far, Kings really looks very promising with Deadwood star Ian McShane and fresh face Chris Egan. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Kings is a re-imagining of the story of King David, told in a fictional and futuristic world.
