I bought season one, DVD but it does not have close captioning though the jacket says it does. We contacted showtime, but got no response to this. Hope the other seasons have close captioning on DVD.
Some of the dialogues are easier to follow with close captioning.

I own Season Two, but I’d love to have Season One as well. This is a beautiful series, well acted. I wish it were more historically accurate, but I do enjoy it.

this is a wonderful show in a sea of mediocre tv. Although they have taken small creative liberties with some of the facts (little things - Anne Boleyn’s eyes were really black and Jane Seymour was not pretty at all; Katherine of Aragon was fat and fair haired, and Henry a redhead. I hope they go thru all 6 wives, because they all have amazing stories. Wouldn’t it be nice if this show continued on to the next Tudor - Elizabeth!! TV heaven!

This is the best show on currently on TV. This young man (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) truly deserves recognition for the depth he is able to reach each time the camera is on him.
