As we approach the Damages Season 2 finale, there are a few questions that fans will hope to see resolved.
1) What will become of Arthur Frobisher. After his return from the grave, Frobisher has been on a journey of peace. He’s opened a new wellness center to help people find the same harmonious oneness with the world that he has. Yuck. We all know Frobisher can’t stay the goodie-goodie for too long. He’s being threatened by the detectives he once employed, who want to rob him of his new found good nature. And, he’s joining the “good guys” in a mission to take down UNR. How long will this last before one of these two opposing forces lure the bad guy out of him? We probably won’t get a resolution to that question until season 3.
2) Will Ellen uncover the truth behind Detective Rick Messer and Wes? We’re expecting a season 3 conclusion to that question as well. With only a few more episodes left in Damages, we know that Wes will still be romantically involved with Ellen at the end of season 2. Will one episode be enough for Ellen’s new bed-buddy to become her new target?
3) What will happen to Tom Shayes? He’s a partner and has been fired twice. This is getting kind of ridiculous. You could say that in season 2, Patty will try and protect Tom from the FBI investigation by firing him. But, who really knows the inner-workings of Patty Hewes mind.
4) Will Ellen really shoot Patty and find peace? It would be a quick ending to the show. And, to conclude both seasons 1 and 2 with a near death shooting (Frobisher was shot at the end of season1 and survived) would be a little cheesy to say the least. Viewers would still be shocked at this, but I’m guessing Ellen will not pull the trigger on Patty. Maybe, with Wes allegedly developing real feelings for Ellen (he obviously doesn’t take Messer’s order to kill Ellen since they’re sleeping together in the future), he turns over the information on Ellen’s fiance’s murder to her? That may be too risky since he could also be implicated. But, a hunch nonetheless.
What questions will remain unanswered and what will be resolved? We’ll find out in the last few episodes of season 2.
