Not only is Season 7 of “24” strides better than its lackluster sixth season, but I’m starting to believe it ranks higher than many of the earlier worst days of Jack Bauer’s life.
It was another intense hour from 5PM to 6PM and, as predicted, Dubaku’s time was up. The Sengalan general was finally captured when his naive girlfriend Marika cause their car to spill out. And with Dubaku captured, the whole operation became a house of cards, incriminating everyone federal that was caught up in the terrorist shenanagins. This meant that resident jerk in the FBI, Sean Hillinger, as outed and captured as the FBI’s mole.
But low and behold, yet another threat lingers. Props go out to director Milan Cheylov, who created that awesome scene at the end where Jack and Tony were solemnly discussing General Juma’s new plan.
But the best news of all is that we’re going to be treated to 2 back-to-back episodes this Monday. And just as I previously thought that it was fishy that the President was hanging out in the White House all this time instead of in a bunker, now we know why. Juma and cohorts plan to invade and take her hostage. It’s just her and Jack Bauer in the Oval Office. Has Jack seen worse? Yes. Will he get out of this? Yes. Will I be watching? No doubt!
Check out the preview for Monday’s double dose of 24.
