What a surprise. Ben is behind it all. He’s behind the lawyers trying to steal Claire’s son Aaron from Kate. And to think we all thought that maybe, just maybe Charles Widmore was the culprit.
Not so. Ben Linus is the calculating chess master who always stays two steps ahead of the Oceanic survivors and Lost’s faithful viewers. But honestly, how the heck does Ben plan to bring back Locke from the dead. If there’s one mystery that needs solving, it’s the story of John Locke. Why is he so damn special to the island. Ok, that’s obviously not the only mystery. Because somebody needs to just come out in the open and tell us what Richard’s deal is. How is it that everyone ages except him. Yet, in the past he seems to have no knowledge of the island’s secrets.
On the relationship side. I’d like to get some closure between the Kate, Jack, Sawyer love triangle. All I can say is that Kate is one lucky girl. To get both the studdly bad boy Sawyer, and the intelligent (albeit ex-drunk) doctor Jack is a fate I’d love to have as a runaway convict.
My prediction is that Kate will end up with Sawyer. Let’s look at the evidence:
1) Sawyer sacrificed his life to let Kate get to freedom by jumping off the helicopter.
2) Sawyer has that sad moment of reflection when he sees Kate helping Claire to give birth. He wasn’t around season 1 when Claire actually gave birth, and being a guy with father issues he shows off his weaker more feminine side.
3) When faced with a difficult situation, Kate can only think of one thing: sleeping with Sawyer.
4) And, lets face it … Jack is just too damn jealous. What woman would want an obsessive drunk psycho to spend the rest of her life with?
