I don’t know about you, but Day 7 of 24 seems to be flying by faster than a fifteen minute lunch break.

Tonight continues what appears to be the transitional point of the season. Jack and the rest of the team get themselves in front of President Taylor with the help of Ule Matobo. I’m sure that Taylor will give them some resistance at first, but will ultimately go along with anything that the team has to say since she really has no other option and they’ve been successful so far. I’m also sure that during their meeting, she’ll discover that her husband has been abducted by the very same baddies causing all of this madness.

The only thing that remains to be seen is what type of on-screen chemistry Jack will have with her. His interaction with President David Palmer was amazing in the show’s first couple of seasons. And let us not forget the on-screen fireworks between him and POTUS Charles Logan Season 5.

Meanwhile, as I mentioned, Dubaku still has some tricks up his sleeve as he has kidnapped the First Gentleman. But this type of thing can’t be stretched too long and get ready for the power to shift to the season’s real villain, Jon Voight. I have no idea when he’s going to show up, but I’m looking forward to it.

Tune in at 9PM / 8PM Central for a new episode of 24.

I love 24. This is already such a great season. I’m so glad they brought back Bill and Tony.

I’m still on the fence about the president. She seems a little bland. I just don’t think you can have a president as good as President Palmer was. Hey, it’s still early. 24 is all about growth, and many characters I hated and 12 hours later, they were favorites.

Jack sounds like Ra’s Al Ghul in the Batman Begins… “Have you finally learned to do what is necessary?”
