New York Comic Con 2009 is now open for business! Thousands of peeps braved the cold and invaded Jacob Javits Center for a look at the latest in comics, video games, movies, films and more.
At first look, the Con is much smaller than it was last year and I can’t help but think that the move up to the cold month of February had something to do with that (although, the economy probably had its say as well).
Things to look out for at the Con are Pixar’s screening of the first 50 minutes of “Up,” the Atari booth with Ghostbusters and The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, the Rockstar booth with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS and Ubisoft’s HAWX. Also expect some serious ruckus when the cast of Fringe and Dollhouse make their arrival on Sunday.
Stay tuned for more pics and updates from NYCC!

Dude. Chronicles of Riddick was pretty sick. This is going to be freakin wild time for games this year.
