Well, it looks like the shoving match between 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros over Watchmen has finally come to an end. The two venerable movie studios have settled (out of court) their battle for copyright and distribution rights of the upcoming big screen adaptation of the Alan Moore graphic novel.
Terms of the agreement are being kept confidential. I’m sure that Fox is going to get a hefty portion of the film’s profits, more than likely a percentage based on its performance, rather than a flat fee.
But all of that is speculation, and honestly irrelevant for us views. The important news is that the film is still on schedule for wide relese on March 6, 2009, less than two months from now.
