Secret Invasion was easily one of the best comic story arcs for 2008. From smart betrayals to a well thought out back-story, Secret Invasion reminded everyone that Marvel still can still rock the comic rack.
But it’s not over. Norman Osborn, who eased his way back into the limelight through the Thunderbolts, is set to bring the Marvel Universe under the Dark Reign in 2009.
After the fallout from Marvel’s poor creative decisions with Spider-Man (Parker’s deal with Mephisto still makes people sick to their stomach), Secret Invasion showed off Marvel’s ability to create well thought out stories.
Here’s hoping the Dark Reign continues the Secret Invasion legacy.

Funny how some people absentmindedly press “shift” even though they have “caps lock” on.
Your mom sucks ass. Parker is just dumb for making a deal with the devil. i mean come on, really? Marvel’s so called moral compass?
Anyway, that is so last year and only one comic I dont think you can say Marvel faltered as a whole for one character. Spider-Man always gets relaunched every decade. he’s jinxed like the red sox used to be. but even jinxes get broken.
Oh secret invasion was great. the lead-in especially. I think it died down somewhere in the last third, it became mostly a fight, but hey i like fights.
NORMAN OSBORN IS KING!!!
Yeah Parker Sucks Butt. Secret Invasion was AWESOME THOUGH! SO i’M BACK TO BEING A TRUE BELIEVER!
