Usually, historical-gossip is left to bitter ex-lovers. But, 30 Rock’s star actress Tina Fey has a husband who just can’t keep his mouth shut.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair. Tina Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond revealed the truth behind Fey’s mysterious facial scar. According to Richmond, Fey was slashed by a stranger in front of her house when she was 5-years old.
Richmond states, “That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life.”
The ever humble Fey felt that talking about the scar would be tantamount to fishing for sympathy through exploiting the scar. The 30 Rock creator remarked, “It’s really almost like I’m able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of ‘Oh, I guess we should use this side’ or whatever. Everybody’s got a better side.”
