The Batman and Robin bromance between Dexter Morgan and Miguel Prado continued in “Si Se Puede.”

Now that Miguel knows Dexter’s knows passion for justice, he wants to share in the Morgan judicial process. Unfortunately, Dexter’s Kobe Bryant work ethic precludes him from being a team player. Dex comes up with a strategy to help Miguel realize that following the killing path to justice is just not in the Prado blood.

Dexter persuades Miguel to bring a violent white supremacist, who is already in jail, to his brand of “justice.” The goal - make Prado realize that he’s not cut out for this line of work and back away. Sorry Dexter, Miguel puts on the mask and follows in the Dexter’s serial-killer footsteps.

Miguel hands the supremacist the key to his cuffs, so that he can escape the holding cell. Dexter meets him on the outside and greets him with an old-fashioned needle to the neck.

Miguel wants a little more out of his new-found relationship and asks Dexter to wait for him to kill their tag-team victim. But, Dexter is a loner at heart and keeps his cling-wrap-knifing ritual to himself.

This couple has serious issues, but Miguel is content with giving Dexter his space - for now. Problem is Miguel can be placed at the scene of the escape, and the DA is already investigating him. That’s bad news for Dexter.

Alas, Miguel is not the only Prado with issues. Besides his dead brother, his other brother Ramon has taken to kidnapping and torturing Debra’s witnesses to find Freebo.

These Prado boys are nothing but trouble, as I’m sure Mother Prado is rolling over in her grave right now.

One thing positive does come out of this. Ramon is not the skinner. So, who’s left? All bets are on Quinn right now. There hasn’t been many newly introduced characters who could wear the mantle of skinner outside of Anton. If we searched left-field maybe it could be Miguel’s wife. Though the possibility would be too much of a stretch.

Of course, it could always be Miguel - silently biding his time before he reveals the truth to his adopted brother. That twist may be a too much along the lines of the ice-truck killer route, so I’ll bet against that outcome.

For some reason the very first person who popped into my mind as the skinner was Mario, the younger tree cutter from several episodes ago. He was wielding a nasty looking knife, and dropping the body off in a location where he could watch without being suspected (because he was working there) seemed to make sense.

But I doubt it is him, he hasn’t been seen or mentioned again, and probably won’t be. The way the targets seem tied to Deb’s investigation leads to Quinn or Anton but I think either would be lame. Season one already had a love interest of Debra as a serial killer, season two already had a homicide detective being pegged as the culprit. Miguel wouldn’t make much sense either.

The Metro PD thinking it’s all about money might be a misdirection to the viewers. Gang bangers and serial killers have slightly different tactics. Given the complete lack of a logical choice at this point, I’ll say it’s Neil Perry.
