If we’ve learned one thing from the past two seasons of Dexter, its that Dexter is not entitled to a happy ending. So goes the life of the anti-hero.
Sure Dexter may have mistakenly killed someone in Season 3 Episode 1. And yes, it was the brother of a prominent figurehead. But, we know Dexter will find a way out of that corner.
Now fatherhood? That’s a whole different beast. I guess wearing protection wasn’t one of Harry’s rules. Dough! If only Dexter had waited to get that rule in his book before his first kill, which subsequently pushed Harry to suicide.
Oh well. As much as Dexter fancies himself this inhuman killing machine, we’ve all seen how he is around Rita’s children. There’s no denying it - this is one serial killer that has a heart and loves the kids.
