The world wakes up this Saturday with the shocking and tragic news that comedian and actor Bernie Mac has died at the age of 50. The cause of death has been listed as complications of pneumonia.
Bernie’s contributions to entertainment are endless including his high profile Kings of Comedy movie as well as his work in the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy. And who could forget his hilarious sitcom, The Bernie Mac show, which served up over 100 episodes during its 5 year run.
Mr. McCullough (his real surname) leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Rhonda, a daughter Je’Niece and countless fans that he made laugh-out-loud, time and time again. We salute Bernie for making us laugh and showing us what it means to put on a good show. May he rest in peace.
