Angelina Jolie is one actor who has created a checklist career for herself.
Star as a popular video game character. Check.

Become worldwide humanitarian. Check.
Steal “People” Magazine two time Sexiest Man of the Year from “Friends” actor. Check.
Give birth to twins. Check.
And now, Jolie’s got her sights set on becoming Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s next Batman movie, which reportedly will be titled “Gotham.”
According to telegraph.co.uk/
The actress, who gave birth to twins earlier this month, is reported to have already made enquiries with film executives about playing the part. Julie Newmar, who played the feline villain in the 1960s Batman television series, said Jolie would make a fantastic Catwoman should the character be reprised.
Ms Newmar, 74, said: “Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love.”
She added: “She’s tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess.”
I for one would love to see Jolie take on the mask of Catwoman. Her only drawback would be her history as Lara Croft. Typically, when it comes to comic/game characters appearing on the silver screen … once your one character you can’t easily go and switch up to another character.
It’s the Superman syndrome. After putting on a cape as Superman, your career is pretty much resigned to just being Superman because the public will never see you as anything else.
Jolie is a rear case in that she’s built a career out of transcending prior roles.
She’s got my vote as Catwoman. I for one wouldn’t mind hearing her purr.

PURRRRRRRRRRR IS RIGHT!
