The seventh season of 24 is shaping up really nicely. According to The Hollywood Reporter, veteran film actor Jon Voight will join the cast for Day 7.
Voight will play this season’s villain, apparently the mastermind behind the latest round of terrorist attacks that Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) will attempt to foil. It is said that the character will also be introduced in the 2 hour prequel, which will air this November.
This is great news for the show, which will attempt to rebound from a lackluster sixth season. Season 7 will premiere in January, 2009.
