Everyone’s favorite family, the Botwins, are returning for another season of “Weeds” on Showtime. But don’t expect our favorite suburban marijuana dealer to hold tight to old ideals.
Season 4 will introduce several changes to the “Weeds” family. For one, after season 3’s wildfires and the burning of Nancy’s home marijuana factory, we’ll see the Botwin’s move out of suburbia. Nancy’s stepping up her drug game to remain competitive in today’s market and becoming a full fledged drug dealer. Oh, and she’s not crossing the line of selling heroin.
Marijuana only for this drug dealing diva.
Aside from a setting change. Also, expect relationship changes. Now that Nancy’s diving head first into the drug game. She’s going to expand her dating pool to just that circle. Dealers.
Expect the relationship between Celia and Nancy to become further strained as the cops interrogate Celia and friends of the Botwins.
I’ve checked out the first two episodes of season 4 and there are definitely some awesome humorous moments that will keep you watching. Nancy will be working along the border between the U.S. and Mexico, so there will be tons of border humor and cultural difference arising from that dynamic.
Be sure to catch the premiere of Weeds Season 4, June 16 at 10pm ET/PT immediately followed by the premiere of Secret Diary of a Call Girl with Billie Piper.
