According to The Hollywood Reporter, rapper turned actor Bow Wow has joined the cast of HBO’s Entourage as a regular in the show’s upcoming 5th Season.
Bow Wow, also known as Shad Moss, will play Charlie, a new stand-up comic client of E (Kevin Connolly). Expect Charlie to vie for time with E against Vince.
Loading …I think this is a bad move for the show, which needs a really strong 5th season to keep viewers interested. I personally haven’t been fond of anything he’s done in the acting arena, including Roll Bounce, Johnson Family Vacation and the most egregious violation, his cameo in the 6th Season of Smallville. And I find it particularly ironic that he’ll play a comedian given that he’s seldom funny in his movies and lacks comedic timing.
