Coming back to the tube tonight is NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Not only does the show allow viewers to catch some laughs before the weekend this summer, but it also gives viewers the chance to win a cool car.
Each week, contestants who bow out will give their funniest routines while sitting in the passenger seat of a new Honda Pilot. Viewers can then hop online and rate a new comic each week for their chance to win a brand new Honda Pilot. Each rating is counted as a vote and the more votes you cast, the better your chances of winning.
Another cool thing about the show this year is that they’re using current and past NBC stars to scout out the talent. If you watch this season, you’ll be sure to see The Office stars Angela Kinsey, Oscar Nunez, Brian Baumgartner and Kate Flannery, Law & Order: SVU actor Richard Belzer, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’s Steve Schirripa; 30 Rock stars Lonny Ross and Keith Powell; and Scrubs actor Neil Flynn.
Stars of NBC past include Newsradio’s Dave Foley; Cheers’ George Wendt and John Ratzenberger, Veronica’s Closet actress Kathy Najimy, Third Rock From the Sun’s French Stewart, Chuck actor Josh Gomez, Mad About You stars Richard Kind and Fred Willard; and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro.
Bill Bellamy is back to host and the show premieres tonight on NBC at 9:30pm/8:30c.
