In a press release, DVD-Rental shop Netflix introduced a device that will allow its subscribers to play downloaded movies on their television sets.
The new device will cost $99.99 and allows users to download movies without restrictions or added costs. Currently, that allows one to download roughly 10,000 movies and television episodes. Users will be able to rewind and pause movies through a remote contro.
This is great feature that will allow Netflix to combat Blockbuster, who can offer their subscribers the ability to get DVDs now by driving in to a brick and mortar store to exchange for a new disc for free.
