What do you get when you mix talented competitors and an oversized gong? You get Comedy Central’s “The Gong Show with Dave Attell.” The new show comes to the network on July 17, 2008.
If you’ve got a unique and bizarre talent and want to be on the show, CC is holding open call audition in New York and Los Angeles this week. Here’s the details:
New York: Thursday, May 22, from 11AM to 6PM @ Arlene’s Grocery at 95 Stanton Street in Manhattan.
Los Angeles: Saturday, May 24, from 10AM to 6PM @ 10601 West Washington Boulevard in Culver City, CA.
For both cities, candidates should submit their name, phone number, type of act and any inks or videos to gongshowcasting@aol.com or call 310-840-5721 to register.
