CBS has disclosed their fall prime time schedule and it has a few surprises.

The eye network ordered a full 22 episode season of The New Adventures of Old Christine, despite having been rumored to lose interest in the show.

They also plan to move a new show, Eleventh Hour, into the coveted Thursday 10pm spot following CSI.

And the move that upset me the most is the move of The Unit from Tuesday nights to Sunday nights, following Cold Case. The new owner of the Tuesday 9pm spot is the new show The Mentalist.

Here’s the new schedule below:

Monday
Big Bang 8:00PM
How I Met Your Mother 8:30PM
Two and a Half Men 9:00PM
Worst Week 9:30PM
CSI: Miami 10:00PM

Tuesday
NCIS 8:00PM
The Mentalist 9:00PM
Without a Trace 10:00PM

Wednesday
New Adventures of Old Christine 8:00PM
Project Gary 8:30PM
Criminal Minds 9:00PM
CSI: NY 10:00PM

Thursday
Survivor 8:00PM
CSI 9:00PM
Eleventh Hour 10:00PM

Friday
Ghost Whisperer 8:00PM
The Ex-List 9:00PM
Numb3rs 10:00PM

Saturday

48 Hours Mystery 10:00PM

Sunday
The Amazing Race 8:00
Cold Case 9:00
The Unit 10:00

Gone are fan favorites like Cane, Jericho, Moonlight and Shark.

The Unit is one of the few good shows that worth watching. I hope your station not going to drop it because this is not the time to loose clients. Why fix if it works????

Why does CBS not promote its best show, THE UNIT ???

First it was scheduled at 10 p.m. on Sunday, after the football game made that time frame a crap shoot, and it was a lousy time in any event.

Now I don’t even know when new episodes are scheduled.

We sure hope CBS will recognize how good this show is, give it a good time slot keep it there and promote it.

Please reinstate the Unit. It is the absolute unrivaled show on TV and my wife and I watch it together faithfully. We have a Friday night Dinner group that meets and we discuss the show and lament and celebrate the various scenarios. This show is therapeutic for us and millions of voiceless people who watch If you drop it, we will drop CBS and those sponsors who allow you to make the billions you make!! Give us a break, the economy is killing us and the crap Hollywood is throwing at us stinks!! Got the picture? Your marketing strategists are listening to the wrong people if they tell you to cancel this show. Those of us with children in the service of our country, relate to this show and it gives us hope of our kids returning from the battle field. It also gives this country insight into the horrific family problems our service men and women deal with.

We love The Unit but this season with it being late every week due to football we fear you are trying to kill it. We hope it will reappear on Sunday night—or any night. It’s one show my husband and I watch together and will tape it if we must be away.

The Unit is gone. I cannot find it! I enjoyed this program.
Your schedulers have done it again. Find a good program and they take it away. CBS used to be my favorite newtwork. Stop messing with the progamming!

My husband and I love The Unit. We enjoy the storyline and hope it will not be cancelled. We look forward to watching it every week. Its one of the only GREAT shows you have left on the network!

When I discovered The Unit had been moved to Sunday nights, I was not thrilled and the time shift back to 10pm was an unpleasant surprise. As an avid fan of The Unit, I will watch anyhow. What peeves me most is my local CBS station. The time is clearly listed as 10pm. Typically the show airs 40 minutes late! This is with regular programming ahead of the show, not some football game that ran into overtime. Just my two cents.

Dropping Cane was a poor decision. The should have been given another chance. The depiction of a Cuban American family is rather accurate and the most accurate portrayal I have ever seen on TV. Possibly if placed in a different timeslot it would have dot iot may have done better. We never missed an episode and were mesmerized with the high quality of the acting. The story lines were wonderful.

Dropping Shark is really dumb…if anything, placement in a prime time spot would be better. Shark has good acting, interesting plots, and is the best lawyer show after Boston Legal (too bad I have to go to Fox to get this). Poor treatment of the Unit…moving it to Sunday…delinks it with its natural cousin, NCIS. You had our attention for 2 straight hours and now you push us to record and retime our viewing. Not a good move for your advertisers, CBS. Finally, because of sports run-ons, both Unit and Cold Case will have to be double recorded to capture the entire show, given your nasty habit of insisting on running all of sixty minutes after a delay due to sports. Why not just put some kind of game show or eality tv (snoooooze) Sunday night and those still tossing beer after sports will just leave the set on.

    In my humble opinion….

I am not pleased with the plan to move The Unit from Tuesday at 9 pm to Sunday at 10 pm. I want to see it remain in the earlier time slot and on Tuesday.

The Unit is a great show and should not be cancelled or moved.

I really like the Monday night schedule. I now know that I am far from the only one who feels something special about How I met Your Mother.Alot of fans do. The Big Bang Theory got better toward the end. I feel CBS knows what its doing.Pairing two shows that appeal to a younger audience is important for this station to get younger. I also am now a big fan of Ghost Whisper. Jennifer Love-Hewitt is young and talented actress. The story line and writing are similar to How I met Your mother. I am very happy for the Unit being renewed. Both How I met Your Mother and the Unit both go on for a fourth season. Also CBS added another night Wednesday for comedy. They now have a balance of comedies and dramas to present to viewers. Now for the bad news.Cancelled: Jericho,Moonlighting and I believe Shark and Cane. Out of these shows Cane was the biggest dissapointment.Jimmy Smiths is a handsome young man and a good actor.I was pulling for the show. However there is no excuse for bad wrting by the producers.Every week the ratings dropped significantly.Moonlighting was OK,but there was a ratings drop after Ghost Whisper. We all feel bad when favorite shows are cancelled.Let CBS know how you feel.
