One of the true gems of last fall’s TV season was NBC’s “Chuck.” That’s why I’m delighted to report that the show’s first season will be coming to DVD on September 16, 2008.

Yeah, you read that right, the DVD will have a demo of Madden 2009. Seems a bit strange for a TV DVD release, but I guess you should come to expect anything in this world of cross promotion. I also don’t understand why networks release the box sets for these DVDs so close to the subsequent season’s premiere. If you’re new to the show, you pretty much have to knock out the season in one weekend in order to catch up.
