On May 12, Britney Spears will be making another guest appearance on the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.”
Spears’ prior appearance, as secretary Abby, on March 24 bolstered the ratings of “Mother” by 1 million viewers, from 9.6 million to 10.6 million. In the episode Abby flirted with womanizer Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). In the May 12 episode they will act on their mutual dislike of Ted (Josh Radnor).
Executive producer and co-creator Craig Thomas stated, “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again.”
Thomas also said jokingly, “And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you.”
