The fifth season of Entourage is a long 5 months away (damn you, writer’s strike), but the rumor mill is already buzzing about things that will happen when Vince, E, Drama and Turtle return. The fun about rumors is that they are a no-risk opportunity to for you to speculate what types of things should or should not happen to the show. Let’s take a look at some of the current gossip:
The Return of Dom
This guy definitely makes most fans’ short lists for Worst Character. His appearance at the beginning of Season 3 first seemed promising at first, but became quickly annoying. It looks like he will return and I can’t say I’m happy about that. If anything, his presence on the show was nothing more than a distraction – taking away from other plot points. And we all know that a season full of 30 minute Entourage episodes is over in the blink of an eye. I’m hoping that this guy gets very little screen time as in 1 or 2 episodes, MAX.
E Takes on More Clients
You either love this guy or hate him. E is a cut and dry character, but very necessary to the show. Vince’s trust of this guy has been an integral part of the boys’ fortunes and misfortunes. I liked what the show did in Season 4 with E taking on Anna Faris as a client and how it affected his relationship with the rest of the crew. Expect this to continue on as E finds success for himself outside of Vince.
Vince’s Career is Failing
It’s not like show creator Doug Ellin hasn’t been hinting at this all along, but Vince’s career has gradually deteriorated after hitting a peak with the first Aquaman movie. The triumvirate of him, E and Ari have made a string of bad decisions and taken some huge risks. The failure of Medellin is the tipping point of all of that. Watch for Vince to struggle big time as his friends begin to rely on him less.
The Rise of Drama
And speaking of that, Johnny Chase becomes the talk of the town and his star is red hot. He begins shooting the second season of Five Towns and is doing much better than his baby bro Vince. If Drama had an ego when he was a failing actor, imagine the head on this guy now. Expect more great acting from Kevin Dillon and some seriously hilarious moments.
Turtle
This guy needs a good storyline. He’s had glimmers of hope from managing Saigon to getting sponsors for Vin’s birthday party. The rumor is that Turtle will become Drama’s assistant. For the most part, Turtle and Drama have both co-existed in mediocrity. It will be great to see Drama have the upper-hand on Turtle since he will presumably be successful.
Excluding the return of Dom, I think all of the above are a great set of possibilities for the show. It will be fun to watch all the guys become fishes out of water - everyone’s role changing for either good or bad. What would you like to see happen in Season 5?

Turtle needs to get a job!! somehow, even if he’s working for drama! I wouldn’t mind Ari getting Seth Green as a client too, that would be hilarious
it would be great to see Drama doing better than Vince!! that idiot has made some of the dumbest decisions since aquaman. he deserves to have a terrible career. but I will love to hear drama shout VICTORY!!!
