I am sad that avatar is over, i followed it for so long that it has left an empty feeling in me. But as most people have said their are a few lose string that need to be connected. Like wen Toph sent that note to here parents wat happened. or wat about zuko’s mom ( were is she ) and did azula die (i hope so ). And like another person mentioned that they could show about iroh and his past in the spirit world (like wat journeys did he have and who did he meet. And if the avatar cycle keeps going wat will happen when the get back to the air nomads there might never be another avatar if aang doesn’t have a kid that will become an airbender and rebuild the air nomad. then that book could be called air. and wat happened to the king of ba sing se and his bear basco. and remember professor zang how he stayed in the library in the desert wen the spirit owl sunk the library. Did the library go to the spirit world or did he just die.

Or maybe a new evil arises. In a dream i had a young boy by the name of kyro was captured by sandbenders and the sand benders killed his fire nation parents. this was during the war and kyru sworn to kill all the sand benders. but in his years wandering the desert he found a huge library. he stayed there for years. Reading and learning firebending from scrolls he read about each nations weaknesses and special powers he learned of creatures and powerful objects from the spirit world. On one day he tumbled into a lair that had only one book that said moom cresent he tore through page after page reading about this moon cresent. What was special about this cresent that is was a small little trinket brought up from the spirit world and it could let any person bend all 4 elements. From then he new his destiny find the moon cresent ( which was at the southern air temple ) kill the avatar and take over the world. Soon kyro piks to friends up one is torrez a firebender and akar a earth bender and they pledge their loyalty to kyro. Soon they start attacking villages and forcing people to join the army. Thats when the avatar hears of their treachry and the gang and him come back together. And it goes on and on. But in the end kyro gets the cresent and becomes all powerful. A huge war breaks out. torrez almost kills katara and from rage aang kills torrez. Akar and Kyro are more determined more then ever to destroy the avatar. But as the war begins akar falls and kyros men surrender. But kyro is stubborn and fights the avatar. the fight for along time and are evenly matched but as aang is almost killed he goes into the avatar state. Kyro fights till he can no longer and soon he dies. And then the moon cresent fall out of his hands. but fate is awkward wen a meir soldier or one soldier who seemed a regular man took of his helmet and everyone realized it was the evil ozi who escaped from prison he picks up the cresent and regains all his power from before and wages war and the avatar. And thats were i left my dream at. It would be dream come true if the creators found this and used it as an idea to keep going. It is just so sad its over i would do anything to have one more season AIR.

I know the ending was intense and had a few cliffhangers but I heard some where on line that the actual books talked about sang and katara having a daughter who is an air bender. It is actually pretty clever because there is no new avatar just a new air bending girl who might try to find her way in the world while everyone is expecting her to help recreate the air nomads. Aang is dissapointed (adult ) but gives her her space and aang is nervouse because when he dies it will be her job to reteach him air bending
Note I’m just a fan who heard a rummer and wants there to be more

I love avatar and know why it would be smarter to end but one more season (air) would be lovely

But what about zukos mom?! They left it out like a cliffhanger..they go from zuko asking his father where she was to a completely different scene and don’t come back to it. I’ll be SO annoyed if they actually never show us what has happened to Ursa.

And Toph’s parents never show up..I dunno just thought they would eventually find her before the series ends.

I geuss this isn’t as important, but I kinda thought Zuko might master lightning bending before the series ended too.

Also I’m curious about Azula..what if she tried to take over or something. (or is she too insane? lol)

I also expected to find out about Iroh and his journey to the spirit world. I thought maybe they would have an episode just to show Iroh’s “troubled past.” (Zuko said his uncle had a troubled past in ep. 313, “The Firebending Masters”)

They really need to think things through before they end a series as great as this.

I’m pissed! Not that the series is ended, thats upsetting as well, but that they didn’t finish up all the story lines. They did such a good job setting up character development for a couple of seasons, only to rush out the last season! Uncle was gone to long, and back to short! Where is Zuko’s sister? What about his mother? Now I want a 4th season to explain all the plot holes! (These could have been explained in the 3rd season)

Definitely a sad moment to see Avatar come to a close. We’ll be meeting with the Creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino next week to get you the 411 on the Avatar movie and the future of Airbending.

While we all love the Avatar, the story coming to a close makes sense. Think about it. The Avatar’s purpose is to restore balance to the world. Now that the Fire Lord is defeated and the four nations are beginning the work of restoring balance with Ang directing, there’s nothing more to add. I love this story, and feel like the finale that aired tonight was a superb way to close the saga. I do have mixed feelings about m. night shamalama-ding-dong doing the trilogy, though (or making it a live action film at all, for that matter–why not leave well enough alone?).

How in the world can they do this?! AVATAR IS OVER?! TWO THOUSAND TEN! I also read somewhere that the movie in two thousand ten will be live action -_-;; Does that mean that it won’t be animated….?

Well Thats just great. We only have a series of lame sup-par movies by m.night shalaman who has a terrible track record of bad films.

Well, i suppose i do not want the series to end. However, the story was supposed to end with Aang defeating the fire lord, and thats how it should stay. I want the series to continue, which might be likley, considering that Avatar is one of Nicks most highly rated tv series. But, the shows ratings im guessing are dropping due to the long gaps in between seasons (especially season 3 because a lot of the episodes are broken up over time as well) which give the fans time to loose interest in Avatar. i wish for the series to continue, but thats only because im interested in the show now. If the series finale does get great ratings, nick might order a fourth season to be written. Nick might not learn to stop the series before it brings disapointment. Where there are great ratings, nick beleives that there is more money to be made out of the series, and might continue it, even to the point where it is cancelled because viewers have lost interest in it. Sometimes it is better to stop where its at, and end with a bang instead of going on for 9 seasons, and the show turns out to be a real drag. But if the writers and creators beleive they have a great new plot and story line that doesnt suck, by all means they should continue the series.

The live-action movies probably won’t do so well if the series stops where its at. 2 years is a long time for fans to wait without and new material of the show. it is likely that they will loose interest and forget about the series/movie, until its debut, where they will see trailers for it, and either not see it because they simply don’t care about the series anymore. or they will see it out of curiosity, but i wouldnt rely on just that.

i hope the series continues as long as it has a solid story line that is interesting and fun to watch. i also hope nick knows when to quit the series before it drags on too long. As for the movie: lets hope that the production doesnt suck, and that there are as many fans of the series today that will go see it.

WEll, this DOES suck… there are four nations, why not four seasons? BUT - I think it’s better to end on a high note than just slowly fade out in, like a 7th season.

I don’t understand why they’re doing a live action at all then - why wait like 2 years after the show ends? Unless they’ll do a season 4 like, a few years after this series ends & show them grown up…. which I hope is not the case…
