Everyone’s been wondering if Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) will be in the upcoming “Incredible Hulk” feature. Well the answer finally came in at NY Comic Con.

During a special screening of the new trailer at the IGN theatre, we caught a glimpse of a scene with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in “Incredible Hulk.” Will we see him put on the Iron Man Hulk-Buster suit? Well that’s another question. But, my guess is they’ll save that for a crossover.

The producers already suggested that if “Iron Man” and the “Incredible Hulk” films do well, they’d be open to an “Avengers” film.

As far as the status on the Hulk movie, the visual fx and music are still being finalized. Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs) joined Director Louis Leterrier on the panel as they showed off an awesome new trailer and some Hulk teasers. Roth plays Emil Blonsky aka Abomination. Roth said he had a chance to breathe life to Abomination through Movo, which allows for facial capture with the use of green paint on the actor.

As for rumors about Ed Norton being difficult in the editing room. The producers assured us that Ed is dedicated to the making of the Hulk film, and was just in the editing room this past Monday ensuring that everything was going well.

We saw the preliminary transormation of Bruce Banner into the Hulk and it looked truly amazing.

Leterrier brought Lou Ferrigno to the stage who was greeted with a heartfelt round of applause. Then Leterrier confirmed that Lou Ferrigno will have more than just a short cameo and guaranteed a speaking role to the great. The director also suggested they may have Ferrigno come in to do the ADR stage and do the voice-over for the Hulk saying, “Hulk Smash.” Ferrigno let the audience know that he was passed over for the voice of Hulk in the live-action show, but did say, “Hulk Smash” on the cartoon series. He even gave the audience a sample of his voice-over from the cartoon.

The producers did not berate the prior Ang Lee Hulk. They just said they took a different direction. The producers added that they pulled key images from the comics prior to production, and were surprised to learn afterwards that all the images they pulled from the comic panels were in the final edit.

Possible Spoiler:
One easter egg to look for in the movie is that the super soldier serum used to transform Emil Blonsky into the Abomination bears the colors of Captain America.
