Former HD-DVD supporter Universal Studios Home Entertainment issued a press release today that detailed it’s upcoming plans for its first releases in the Blu-Ray format.
One of those releases will be the 2nd season of NBC’s action-drama darling, Heroes. You can expect to purchase this new set (as well as the regular DVD Box Set) on August 26, 2008. If you’re new to the show and want to catch up, this will give you about 3 weeks to watch before the Season 3 premiere. Oh, and if you’re wondering, Heroes Season 1 will also be released on Blu-Ray at the same time.
Season 2 wasn’t even close to Season 1, but I’ll still get it for the collection
