I cannot miss an episode of this show…At the age of 17 I worked on a deep sea fishing boat out of Hampton Beach . N.H. It truly was the thrill of my life, even though I only worked on a 66 person passenger boats when we got hit with a Northeaater I know what it is to be soaked to the skin and fall in to freezing water and not know if you were going to mame it out.
What a thrill every week to see them brave the elements and come out winners. And I grieve every time someone is lost or injured. I wonder if these guys know just how much a part of our extended families they become.
My greatest wish would be to get a job on one of their boats as a cook…

I start thinking my job is pretty damn tough, until I watch these guys fishing for crab. My troubles seem much smaller after watching the only reality show that I ever watch. Love these guys. I am a 40 year old cowgirl from Alabama and mother of a 17 and 24 year old set of boys that I adore. Wish I could have met someone like Jonathon,from the Time Bandit . I just love his personality. I would go out on that boat with him any day. I bet I could hang in there for a while. I am a pretty tough and fit cowgirl. Not to bad for 40 either. Oh , if by some chance the Time bandit reads this. Tell Jonathon just to let his son figure out the divorce rate is as high on land as it is on the sea. Takes a very tough woman and a proud woman to be married to one of these guys. I would be proud to call one of these men my husband. I think most people admire these guys. Hard to find a guy with grit anymore. I think all thats left are candy asses. Hard to love someone you cant respect. Give him time, he will see that all this is true.
You guys are the highlight of my Tuesday.

My wife and I never miss the show, we love it! What a bunch of VERY TOUGH men! They get the job done every time! I think Phil & sons are one of our favorites and they are tougher than most! When his son pulled his own tooth WOW I have never seen anyone tougher than that in my life!!!!!!!!!! My wife had to turn away she could not watch all of that. How in the world could that kid do that? & he was sober. He has my vote for one of the toughest Men in the fleet!!!!!!!!!!!!
