If, for some reason, you were dying to see Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie in 2008, you’re about to get some really bad news.
United Artists is pushing back the release date of the film…again. Originally slated for a June 2008 release, the movie was initially delayed until October 3, 2008. Now, the movie is being pushed back to February 13, 2009.
This final move is being done in order to capitalize on the lucrative President’s Day weekend. There is also usually weak competition for viewers around that time, so the film should fare well.
The movie is based on a real-life plot to assassinate Adolph Hitler.
