I love this series. I didn’t know much about the reign of Henry VIII before, and I’ve been doing quite a bit of research since watching “The Tudors.” It’s disappointing that the producers/writers chose to play fast and loose with the facts. (Like Henry had two sisters, not one. Mary (not Margaret) married a foreign king, but the King of France, not Portugal). Still, I’m enjoying learning about the period via the combination of the show and Google searches. The costumes are gorgeous. I’ve been on a quest lately to find jewelry reminiscent of the period. One of the reasons I’d love to have the DVD is for the featurette on the costumes!
