Well April is here and the Secret Invasion is finally upon us. Unfortunately, the series hardly has the same momentum as Marvel’s other major events like Civil War or Messiah Complex (the latter which kicked ass). Maybe without the hype this one may turn out to be a hidden gem.
Nothing major going on with DC as far as story arcs go, but there are several titles that are decent follows. The “Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes” comes to a conclusion this week, which has been a pretty good read. Speaking of Legion of Super-Heroes, the cartoon has been amazing since season 2 began.
Cable #2 is here, probably the most important book on the list, aside from Secret Invasion.

CABLE #2
There’s only one thing worse than a heavily-armed man with murder on the brain. And that’s several heavily-armed men, none of whom give a damn about Cable’s mission to save mutantkind from total extinction. Meanwhile, Cable’s newest enemy—Lucas Bishop—crawls back from bloody oblivion and tracks down his quarry the hard way: one brutal time jump after another. When Bishop finally catches up wit Cable, he’s not going to be in the mood for small talk. It’ll be kill first, ask questions later.
SECRET INVASION #1
Let’s see if Marvel’s secret invasion can stand up to the success of the recent X-Men crossovers.

I only picked up Cable and Secret Invasion. I can’t afford all these comics
