According to Variety, Dimension Films nabbed “Janky Promoters,” a script written by actor/rapper Ice Cube.
Cube will star in the film and will also co-produce. This represents the first script that Cube has written since the final film in the “Friday” franchise.
Ice Cube has tailored Janky Promoters will be more along the vein of the Friday and Barbershop series, rather than the family oriented “Are We There Yet?”
