Buzzfocus.com ran into Tracy Ullman, star of the upcoming Showtime series Tracy Ullman’s State of the Union, at the premiere of the Tudors in New York City’s Times Square.
When asked about her spot-on impersonation of Renée Zellweger, Ullman said she studied Zellweger’s mannerisms from videos (interviews) on YouTube. The similarities are striking, so you’ll definitely want to check YouTube for any Zellweger interview after you see Ullman’s impersonation. The comedic genious also admitted to being a huge fan of Bollywood, which is immediately apparent when you see her characterization of Padma Perkesh in State of the Union.
She is, quite honestly, one of the nicest/most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. So, here’s my endorsement. Support Tracy Ullman’s State of the Union. You won’t be disappointed.

i didn’t even know tracy ullman was still around? is she still funny? i’m guessing she is with the endorsement. But I don’t see how she’ll do a whole show by herself. I mean Frank TV sucks cause it’s really just Frank. I’d hate to see Ullman come back just to be terrible. leave at your height, which unfortunately was nearly 2 decades ago.
