LA Ink loses Pixie AciaLA ink tattooist Kat Von D has posted a blog on her myspace page stating that her close friend and High Voltage Tattoo shop manager, Pixie Acia, has left the shop and the show.

“When I first put together my crew for LA Ink, Pixie was actually the first and only person that I knew in my heart I wanted on the team,” Kat began her entry.  “But working together can definitely put you on a different level with your homies, and I for one, never thought that what happened recently, would have ever gone down the way it did.”

Pixie was a fan favorite even though she wasn’t a tattoo artist. The show featured her in many episodes and she gave the shop some much needed liveliness.

I don’t think we should be condemning Kat or Pixie’s personalities in reguards to this fall-out. I can tell you working and hanging out with anyone for a long period of time is pretty much a guarantee to make a friendship tedious. Kat just wants to run a successful business. Pixie possibly took the job for leisure and to support her friend. No one is at fault in this situation.
The others left probably because they were homesick, and because of the stress of being constantly filmed for over twelve hours every single day. There is a chance that the pressure to look and act their best for the cameras probably just got to them. We shouldn’t simply assume it was based on a personal clash between Kat and the staff…

I think Pixie was a sweetheart and it’s was all about jealousy with Kat. I mean if you watch episodes now Kat is a big bitch. She thinks she’s the shit now and knows everything and they always talk about being professional, honey being professional is not making a big scene in front of everyone or trying to put someone down in front of your employees or other people in the shop. Take them into the office and talk things out. They are so un-professional there that they talk shit amongst each other. As soon as Pixie left the show I floated away from the show little by little. Kim and Hannah were too boring and Corey is Kat’s little kiss ass pet.

Pixie was awesome. To be honest she seemed like she helped I mean when they showed her just texting she was probably on her break or nothing was needed to be cleaned at that moment. Notice how she was brilliant with the customers and gathering things for the shop when it first opened.
I respect Kat as an artist but she comes across as a douchebag all the time, especially on Miami Ink. I mean obviously more stuff happened that we didn’t see on Miami Ink but when Ami confronted her about everything she said she denied it all and tried to turn it around on Ami. He was only trying to run a business which is stressful enough he didn’t need her bulls**t at all. Kat was probably jealous that Pixie was getting more attention I just rewatched the “Kat sets a record” episode and she was getting annoyed because Pixie was being asked for pictures she was probably peed off that not all the focus was on her.

Kat was not a true friend to Pixie. there was even talk about how long they had been friends, something like 6 years and Kat had never even been to see Pixie’s house. Come on! I don’t call that a real friend. I think Kat knew Pixie would be a big draw for her show, and there is no denying that she was. And I also think Kat started to feel like Pixie was stealing some of her thunder. Kat jealous = pixie gone. By the way, it’s season 3 now…no word on why Hannah or Kim left. I find that very very interesting. I mean if you’re on a hit tv show and you choose NOT to return (this is an assumption on my part) then that truly has to say something about how f’d up things really are over there at LA Ink. Maybe Kat is actually just a real b*tch…and Corey is a great artist..but an *ss kiss to Kat as far as I can see.

I think ones pixie got “fired/left” the show, the show went down. it became very fake. The other characters have proved to be bad actors, the whole thing appears to be script. Pixie was the one you loved to hate, or love, but the one that atracted you to the show when combined with Kat. L.A ink was “Kat and Pixie” to be honest i feel that Kat felt Pixie was starting to get more attention and Kat could not handle that so they made Pixie appear as if she was not doing her job and they got rid of her. Sad but true. What person in their right mind will sit around and slack off on the job and text knowing they are being taped… i think all the clips you see where pixie is “not working” was filmed while she was on her break and then they made it appear as if she was just sitting arounf texting her friends… it was all set up to get rid of her. I havent watched LA ink in a long time, they just dont have that spark anymore. They should get pixie back

pixie thought she was a black chick. SHE AINT! besides ….. she a grown up woman. she should take her job more serious and actually ‘manage and clean’ the shop. but no …. all she wanted was attention ….. make jokes ….. buy stupid stuff for the shop ….. and NOT do her actual job.

like a little child when she was confronted:
just ran away and say dont fuck with me.
all the wanted was to talk about her job.

haha she is soooo wack. typical american behaviour ;)
    (sorry guys)

    bye bye from amsterdam

I never liked Pixie. In fact.. I actually hated her! She does NOTHING to make the shop better! And what do you mean funny? And I think Miami Ink is 1000 times better than LA Ink! Althought I really like Kat Von D. In Miami Ink is like tatts and the sense of humor of the guys… but LA Ink is like… just a fucking fake show.. they only talk about the past and how they came into the tatt world and all that too serious bullshit. And there comes TOO MUCH ”celebs” at the shop, which it makes too commercial. And London Ink… god… I don’t want to talk about that!

And some people must be happy that Miami Ink excist… no Miami Ink = NO LA Ink!

It’s sad to see Pixie go but either she lost the job or the friendship. Which would you choose? I would lose the job myself. Mind you Miami Ink and LA Ink are designed for showing tatt stories, tatt arts and the tat artist. Not to show how the people on the show live there life e.g Big Brother. Due to these shows i wish to become a tatt artist, as it showed me stuff that attracted to my liking.

Look, Pixie was great adorable even, but the show is about the tats and the people who get them and the people who ink them. I’m not going to stop watching just because Pixie left. I’m hoping that one day I’ll be able to walk into the shop and get a at myself.

So for all you people out there who are refusing to watch the show. GROW UP!

I love the show, and pretty much only watch it due to the sensational artwork. i would honestly be a bit bummed if one of the artists left the shop, other than that, nothing else really matters. only hope kat and pixie sort their shit out if they havent already and be chill again. love ya work guys!

Bring back pixie. Kat better get down on her knees and beg for her to come back cuzz the show is gonna suck as bad as miami ink. without a funny and sexy girl to give the show life, humor and sexappeeal.
and personaly i think that when you lose a main carecter in a show like la ink, then it´s usually only a matter of time before the show goes belly up.
I hope that doesn´t happen, but i am doughtfull.
