Kristin Over at E! Online has a juicy interview with Entourage creator Doug Ellin and his thoughts on the 5th Season of the HBO Comedy. The show’s writers are finally back to work after the Writer’s Strike ended last month.

Here’s some of the highlights:

* -12 episodes were ordered for Season 5, but Ellin is flexible to do more if HBO wants to.
* -There is no plan to integrate the Writer’s Strike into the show.
* -The 5th Season will premiere in September.
* -More Dom? - Vince childhood buddy Dom will return - probably getting on everyone’s nerves once again.
* -Ellin is planning for at least four more seasons of the half hour show (Man, I wish they would make the show an hour long).

I can’t wait until September. It’s going to be sad to go through the summer without a new episode of the show. It’s become a ritual to watch it on summer Sunday nights.

Best show on tv but it is getting a little commercial. Keep your edge and remember hollywood is offensive so sometime you’ve got to offend

I miss Season 2-era Entourage when the show was good. It’s gotten so goofy and ridiculous - Drama & Turtle are crazy sidekicks and it’s become completely unbelievable. If you watch Season 1 and especially Season 2 and compare with more recent episodes, there’s no contest. I’m sorry to say, but the show peaked long ago.

Not a chance HBO is going to cancel this, especially with The Wire going off the air - Entourage is one of their best shows
