According to Nielsen Soundscan data, Janet Jackson has achieved the sixth number one album of her career with “Discipline.” The latest effort from the seasoned pop artists has sold 181,000 copies in the week ending this past Sunday.
This also the first album that she has released under for Island Def Jam. Her previous two albums were released on Virgin and peaked at number 2.
