Marc Ecko Entertainment is teaming up with Showtime Networks to develop a video game based on the award-winning TV series “Dexter.” The game will be cross-platform and will be made for both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
If you’re not familiar with Dexter, it follows the exploits of Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter specialist with the Miami Police Department who happens to also moonlight as a serial-killer killer (double killer intended). An edited version of the show just began airing on CBS last month.
As for Marc Ecko, he’s still new to games but did pretty well with his “Getting Up” title. He promises to work closely with Showtime in order to stay true to the Dexter story.
