NBC has just added another layer to Lipstick Jungle - which has quickly become one of my personal favorite shows on network tv.
It’s BonfireMagazine.com, the magazine where Nico Reilly (Kim Raver) works, and it’s a virtual magazine that ties in to the plotline of the show.
I’m thrilled that NBC is doing this. Usually this type of expanded television enviornment is reserved for more scifi type shows, like Heroes and Chuck.
BonfireMagazine.com includes articles that tie in with the events in the show’s storyline, as well as some other fashion fare. As a bonus, the fashion content is overseen by Daniel Vosovic, an alum and favorite of Bravo’s Project Runway. This week’s issue has some of his 80s-inspired designs (they’re on the cover).
New issues go up every Thursday.
