Lohan Transforms into Marilyn Monroe

Lindsay Lohan has transformed from gossip column girl into a resurrected Marilyn Monroe for New York magazine.

In Monday’s issue of New York magazine, Bert Stern, photographer for Monroe’s famous 1962 nude photo shoot, re-created the Marilyn’s last shoot using Lindsay Lohan. The original photo shoot took place at the Hotel Bel-Air in California only six weeks before Monroe committed suicide.

Lohan told the magazine, “I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”

Stern told the Associated press, he found gossip column girls like Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears “interesting.” He went on to say, “They’re girls that draw attention to their notoriety and their celebrity through their behavior.”

“I thought she [Lindsay Lohan] was a natural, not at all squeamish.”
