Well, it sure took Rockstar Games a while to announce this, but the most anticipated game of the year, Grand Theft Auto IV, will be released on April 29, 2008.
The game was originally slated to be released last October, but Rockstar pushed the delivery date back to this year because the game simply wouldn’t have been ready. This actually turned out to be an OK delay because an insane amount of good games came out in the latter months of 2007 including Call of Duty 3, Halo 3 and Mass Effect to name a few.
If you haven’t already, make sure you preorder your copy - the release of this game could easily trump the enormous release of Halo 3 last September.
