Facing an expected boycott for acting supporting the WGA strike, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will be canceling its typical celebrity-praising event better know as the Golden Globes.
In lieu of the show, NBC News will cover said hour-long press conference at 9PM EST where the winners will simply announced. (All across the country advertisers are now demanding their money back from NBC!) I don’t know about you, but this sounds like one big snooze fest that could be simply replaced with 5 minutes of looking it up on the web at 10PM.
And according to John Horn at the LA Times, NBC will also air a party show after the press conference, covering the various parties thrown in Hollywood.
I, on the other hand, will be watching what I would’ve been watching anyway: the Fox premiere of “Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”
