“National Treasure: Book of Secrets,” starring Nicolas Cage was a hit this holiday weekend. The Disney sequel to the 2004 “National Treasure” took in an estimated $45.5 million at the box office.
The original “National Treasure” film grabbed $35.1 million opening weekend and went on to earn $173 million in sales slips.
Outside of the scribe strike, it looks like Hollywood is going to have a very green ($$$) Christmas.
