Dan Fogelberg acclaimed singer/songwriter has past away at age 56 after a long fight with prostate cancer. Fogelberg’s legendary hits included “Leader of the Band,” “The Power of Gold,” “Longer,” and “Same Old Lang Syne.” His music defined the 70s and 80s rock era.
He was not only a great singer, but also a great storyteller. Fogelberg’s words captured the emotions of the era through simple storytelling that had a brilliant and profound impact on its generation.

“Dan left us this morning at 6:00 a.m. He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side… His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.”
