ABC currently has two new sitcoms in the works, both of which star black comedians.
The first is a multicamera comedy revolving around Cedric the Entertainer. The Hollywood Reporter states that Cedric will play a family man “who always has been the proud breadwinner but has difficulty adjusting when his wife’s (Regina Hall) hobby turns into a multimillion-dollar enterprise.”
The show will reportedly include the following cast members: Peter Mackenzie, Charles Malik Whitfield and Melissa Peterman.
The second sitcom comes from the creators of “My Wife and Kids,” Damon Wayans and Dan Reo. Wayans is slated to star.
