Mr. Jack Bauer himself, Keifer Sutherland, was sentenced to 48 days in the slammer due for obtaining his second drunk-driving arrest in three years. Kiefer immediately reported to a city lockup - given that 24 is not in production due to the writer’s strike.
Kiefer requested to serve his time at the Glendale City Jail. Glendale is a residential city on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
Under the terms of guilty plea, Kiefer will get five years of probation, take a 18-month alcohol-education class, attend weekly alcohol-therapy sessions for six months and pay a WHOPPING $510 fine.
Hopefully the time in jail will prevent him from drinking and driving again.
