With the Hollywood writers strike end date still up in limbo, CBS Corp. has begun looking to bring some of its premium content to broadcast.

First on the list is serial killer extraordinaire Dexter.

CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves stated, “‘Dexter’ is probably the first one to go on — with some edits… It fits with our crime shows.”

Other shows being considered for broadcast include ‘Weeds’ and ‘The Tudors.’ All of Showtime’s premium cable programs will have to undergo a major overhaul of editing to make it to broadcast approval. But, then again Family Guy is on the air, and that’s one prime time cartoon that defied all the network barriers.
