Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan will not be charged by the authorities for an altercation in October. On Oct. 26, Brosnan got into a spat with a photographer in front of a Mexican restaurant in Malibu.
Prosecutor James Garrison declined to file a battery charge, saying “There is insufficient evidence to prove this case to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.”
“Insufficient evidence?” Sounds like the former Bond star took a page out of the MI6 handbook to dodge that bullet.
Pierce Brosnan will star in “The Thomas Crown Affair 2.” The film is scheduled to begin shooting January 2008. No word yet on if the WGA Strike will affect production.
