With a expected actor’s strike on the horizon, film stars are looking to stay employed in other ways. Jessica Alba is in talks to star in a Broadway production of David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow. She hopes to play Karen, a role that Madonna played in 1998.

The Fantastic Four star told Regis and Kelly on their, “I have been asked. It’s perfect timing because of the strike. There might be an actor’s strike in June. So if they don’t resolve, I can do theater.”
